Welcome to the Huddersfield Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit (PMU). The unit is the lead NHS unit in the Yorkshire Region along with being one of the most technologically advanced facilities nationally.

The unit is designed for the manufacture of pharmaceutical "Specials" with particular emphasis on sterile and non sterile preparations. Packing and assembly of liquid and oral solid dosage forms, over labelling and repackaging of tablets and capsules form part of our activity. The unit holds a Specials Manufacturing License and Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP) License.
